Finally, bnb-cyprus staff also ensures that your property is always kept spotless and immaculate for the visitors to come.

What can I put up for rent?

In order for your property to be deemed rentable, it should meet a number of criteria with reference to its condition and cleanliness. It should be furnished, usable and provide as much amenities as possible for the comfort of the guests. The necessary and desired conditions to be satisfied are listed in our FAQs below.

What specifications should my property meet to be eligible?

Certainly location plays a very important role in increasing your bookings. Those properties located in tourist areas or near landmarks are more in demand.

Required specifications: Furnished, Air conditioning (hot-cold) Free Wi-Fi, Hot Water supply, Wardrobe/ Closets, Kitchen/ Kitchenette, Kitchenware, Refrigerator, TV, Washing Machine, Coffee Maker, Water Kettle, Toaster, Hair Dryer, Clothes Iron, First Aid kit, Fire Extinguisher.

Desired specifications: Satellite TV, Swimming Pool, Walking Distance to Public Transport, Dryer, Private Parking.

Essentials: (Our Company undertakes to purchase the following items for your property at a cost, depending on the package you opt for): Bottled water, Tea bags, Coffee, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Shampoo, Shower Gel, Soaps, Trash Bags, Kitchen Rolls, Washing Liquid, Kitchen Sponges, Laundry Powder, Toilet Paper, Mosquito Repellent.

What areas does bnb-cyprus serve?

bnb–cyprus manages villas, apartments, detached houses, cottages, blocks of flats and residential complexes. The company fully serves properties located in the cities of Limassol and Paphos, while it also undertakes the e-management of properties all around Cyprus.

Why not stick with a short-term rental website such as airbnb or booking.com? Why do I need so many different channels?

Each channel offers access to a different population group. Most people are familiar with airbnb and booking.com which are clearly included in the channels we work with but few know there are other channels, equally known, to exploit such as homeaway, expedia etc. By listing and promoting your property on more channels, you will generate more bookings and as a result more revenue.

I have already a property listed on airbnb. Can you take it on?

Of course we can! If you are interested in working with bnb-cyprus, all you need to do is get in touch with us. Once we reach an agreement, we will manage your property according to the package you have opted for.

How do I hand over the listing of the property I already have on a channel?

The easiest and simplest way is to create a new separate listing for your property on a bnb-cyprus account, then deactivate yours for the duration of our partnership.

Alternatively, you can change the email linked to your account on the website with the one we will give you, and let us change the password so we can become the managers of your listing.

What about my Facebook login credentials? Do I need to give it to you?

No, you don’t. We will never ask for it. We will however ask you to change your email to ours so that we can manage your property on the existing channel.

What if I want to keep the property for myself or if I don’t want to rent it for some days?

Piece of cake! As long as the dates you want are not already reserved, you can just let us know in advance and will arrange for those dates to appear as unavailable in the booking calendar. The sooner you let us know the better.

Can I set a minimum number of nights for my property?

You can set a minimum number of nights a guest can book simply by letting us know. However, we must always keep in mind that minimum night requirements are likely to affect the eligibility of your property and therefore your income. The golden ratio is determined based on the competition of the area where your property is located.

Note: bnb-cyprus does not support one-night stay reservations.

How do you set prices per night?

A great number of factors play a role in shaping prices. bnb-cyprus dynamically adjusts prices to try to get you the best possible bookings at the best possible price per night.

The most important factors that help shape the price per night are the following: location, condition and quality of the property, amenities and equipment offered to guests, number of people that can be hosted, rental period etc.

Other factors are competition in the area, local events, whether the listing is new without reviews or existing with enough positive reviews and other.

Can I have a say in pricing my property?

If you want to set a minimum rate for your property you can. However, the dynamic pricing method and the tools we use have proven to be extremely efficient in optimising and producing the best possible results.

Can I define specific rules for using my property?

Of course you can. The property is yours and so are the rules of using it. Make sure you include in detail the rules for using your property in your property information application.

What is your policy on the cleanliness of my property?

At bnb-cyprus we strive to maximally meet the needs of our partners/ clients, and this is why we clean their properties by using eco-friendly cleaning products, thus proving the importance we place on the quality of our services.

All cleanings are planned immediately after each check-out, seeking to have your property cleaned by the same team every time as to ensure the necessary familiarity with the space for even better results.

What is bnb-cyprus’ policy for bedding and towels?

One of the most important features of hospitality is the cleanliness of bed linen and towels. In the areas we operate in, we can take care of the cleanliness of your premises including the excellent and top quality bed linen provided by bnb-cyprus to ensure that all the necessary equipment is cleaned and securely stored in your property.

Note: There should be two sets of bed linen and two towels for each guest.

Can you take care of my garden and pool?

bnb-cyprus works with specialised gardeners and pool service technicians and therefore can handle all of the above services.

What about damages?

After each check-out we inspect the premises for damage and send you photos of any possible changes that may have occurred. For any claim, we mediate on your behalf and strive to be fully compensated. Nevertheless, we advise our clients not to leave objects of high emotional or monetary value on site.

Should I have my property insured when renting?

Although all channels cover up to a certain amount for damages that may occur, the yearly cost of insurance coverage and liability is very low, so we highly recommend insuring your property.

When will I be paid?

Payment time varies depending on the pricing policy of each short-term rental website through which a booking is made. Usually, payments are made to a bank account in Cyprus or abroad at the end of each month after a financial clearance based on your bookings is first made so that you have a complete picture of your finances.

Additionally, bnb-cyprus offers you the option of being paid in advance with the revenue of the year upon agreement.

How do I terminate my collaboration with bnb-cyprus;

bnb-cyprus seeks to build long-term partnerships with its clients. However, we do realise that sometimes it is necessary to terminate some collaborations.

In this event, you can terminate our collaboration by notifying us in writing at least two months in advance so that bnb-cyprus stops receiving new reservations.

However, for practical reasons existing bookings cannot be cancelled. The bnb-cyprus team will do everything possible to ensure that your guests are accommodated to other properties we manage, but you should keep in mind that this is sometimes impossible. In this case, you should either accommodate or compensate (if you cancel the reservation) your future guests.

I want to collaborate with you. How soon can bnb-cyprus book my place?

The process is very simple. All you need to do is fill out the Interest Form and then send it to bnb-cyprus.

At first we will contact you to set the date on which we will visit your property and once we reach an agreement, it will take us 10-15 days to prepare the listing of your property, complete the professional photoshoot and get the property ready for the search engines to generate reservations.
